  • Pupils at Morley Primary School are now sporting new tracksuits incorporating the school logo, courtesy of a locally based house builder.  Crest Nicholson is currently working on a development in the neighbouring borough in Smalley.  The track suits were donated by the firm and will be worn by members of the school sports teams when attending matches and competitions.

  • College students in Morley are learning how to look after themselves after the opening of a new £100,000 living unit at the Broomfield College campus.  Around 40 students are enrolled, aged between 16-25, on courses designed for people with learning difficulties.  Kitchen facilities include those suitable for those using wheelchairs whilst an interactive whiteboard offers useful cookery information and other guidance.  The courses last for up to two years at a time.
