Having caught the radio bug at an early age after listening to the pirate stations, Dave began by 'broadcasting' music from his bedroom window in competition with the travelling fairground up the road.

With a rapidly growing collection, and a vast assortment of plugs, cables and noise-making equipment, he progressed via his local hospital radio station - both in engineering and presenting - and through working on his own mobile disco set up, ending his first love when he became involved in the local radio sector.

Dave works in electronic engineering and is married to wife Chris.  They have two children, Cathy and Matthew, but whilst the family is settled, the record collection is still growing, and now on CD as well as vinyl.
