several years now, co-presenting programmes on Pride FM in Derby,
Staffordshire's Moorlands Radio, and then also with Erewash Sound.
Her start in radio was very much a baptism of fire, and took place in December 2003. Co-presenter and t'other half Tony was called out the studio and as the lights flashed, the needles waved and the sound faded, Dawn was thrown into the fray, but was quickly bitten by the radio bug to assume control.
Her musical tastes include The Backstreet Boys and Take That, or anything "poppy" from boy or girl bands. On Erewash Sound, you'll find Dawn co-presenting the weekend breakfast show - Tony Mullins & The Morning Crew' along with Tony Mullins and Dave Wilson. There's no show like it!
